Applications are ADA compliant where required.
Record and Registration applications allow UH to audit archived permanent records; maintain course catalog, class schedules, and room/building assignments; provide distributed data extraction services to faculty and departments; record, track, and process graduation applications; process/post grades and produce grade mailers; online/real-time record maintenance; produce transcripts and enrollment certification documents; register students in batch and online modes; create academic performance data tapes for major feeder schools; provide online inquiry and comprehensive correspondence and reporting services.
The Accounting, Billing, and Collections applications allow UH to maintain batch interfaces to accounts payable, financial accounting, payroll, State agencies, the bank, housing, financial aid, and various auxiliary departments; bill students, faculty, staff, third parties, and other receivables; collect past due accounts; maintain third party contracts and waiver agreements, control cash, maintain fee schedules, track vehicle registrations and citations, post financial transactions, and produce various financial reports.
The Planning and Policy Analysis application allows UH to produce official State and Federal reports.
The Financial Aid application allows UH to handle grants, scholarships, college work study, and loan transactions; package aid for applicants; and produce management/audit reports.
Supports the application security administrators. Provides maintenance and query of security profiles for UH departments, individual users, applications, and database files; and for the links between these entities, e.g. authorization of users to applications.
Provides maintenance and query of centralized tables data. Custom online maintenance, online query and browse, and batch query access to each table is automatically generated from the table definition information for the more than 500 tables currently supported.
Provides for maintenance and query of application documentation.
UHMAIL integrates standard electronic mail functionality (SEND, READ, REPLY, FORWARD, FILE, distribution lists, etc.) with the PROFiles security system so that mail can be sent based on users application and department responsibilities.
ADC support system provides tools for supporting the application environment. Includes developer tools, application batch support, performance statistic, audit trails, etc.
