Use of the University of Houston's WiFi networks to enable WiFi calling on mobile devices.

Anyone within the central campus vicinity can use the UH WiFi networks to enable WiFi calling on their mobile devices.


Request this service:

If you have already enabled Wi-Fi calling on your devices then simply connect to the University’s Wi-Fi, your device will automatically switch calling functionality to the strongest signal available.


More About This Service

Cellular carrier use of Wi-Fi calling while roaming in building or between floors is not just dependent on Wi-Fi coverage but the cellular carrier technology to maintain calls as your devices jumps from one Wi-Fi AP to the other. The same is true for Wi-Fi AP to a cellular tower. Your calling experience will vary.
