Student Organization

The University of Houston Industrial Design Student Organization (IDSO) is a student run and elected entity for the betterment of the ID program on all levels. This may include planning events, such as workshops, field trips, and inviting speakers. The IDSO plans fundraising events to assist the ID student body in reaching its goals. Fundraisers may include t-shirt sales and ID bake sales among many other creative brainstorms. Finally, The IDSO acts as a liaison between the University of Houston and the ID student body.

IDSO Mission Statement:
This organization exists in order to accelerate the development and improvement of the Industrial Design program at the University of Houston through student and faculty activities that promote, organize, plan, and network. This group will attempt to position the industrial design program as a creative leader within the school and the region.
