Ideally, students and/or faculty members that already have an idea, concept or technology that they believe has a commercial application will apply to the program after forming an entrepreneurial team (E-Team).
An E-Team consists of:
- a faculty member,
- at least one student,
- and an external mentor that has had previous experience in accelerating a similar idea or technology to market.
It can be the student(s), the faculty member or both who are responsible for the idea or technology which the E-Team would like to explore. Other team compositions will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Alternatively, students and/or faculty members that are not already members of an existing E-Team but would like to explore forming or joining a new E-Team are encouraged to apply to the program. By registering on the UH I-CORPS SITE and providing some general information about your idea/technology, area of expertise and your interest in forming or joining an E-Team, you will be provided with a list of potential E-team members and/or mentors who are also interested in the UH I-CORPS SITE program.Apply Now
