Who we are:
  • We are a registered on campus student organization at UH.
  • We are a group of international students and scholars at the University of Houston.
  • We have come from all parts of the globe to Houston.
  • We appreciate your culture, and we want to learn about it.
  • We want to discuss and learn together about Jesus.
  • In ICF, we could learn about other cultures and build genuine friendships.
  • In ICF, we could find leadership and training opportunities for building each Christian up toward a deeper relationship with and commitment to Christ.
  • In ICF, we could find more than a campus fellowship. It became a family to us.
  • In ICF, it is not necessary to be a Christian to participate in any of the activities.

More about ICF:

History

1980s
Several students from Indonesia, Singapore & Malaysia got together for bible studies and fellowships. They called themselves Asian-English Christian Fellowship or AECF.
Pretty soon, students from outside of Asia joined the group. Therefore, the name was appropriately changed to International Christian Fellowship.

1997
Through the vision of certain volunteers and students, ICF reorganized after a semester break and has grown ever since.

Vision

ICF’s vision is to see international students and faculty transformed, campuses renewed, and world changers developed.

How do we do this?

In response to God's love for all people:

We pursue our vision by establishing and advancing student-led international witnessing communities which welcome international students and scholars at UH, introduce them to Jesus Christ, and help Christians grow as His disciples on campus and in the world.
