What They Say:- Abisola Dada - Benjamin Soibam - Mandy Yu -

Abisola Dada

I joined ICF in the Fall of 2007. I joined after attending their coffee house. When I was there I got to meet many people from different countries. I kept attending their Friday night meetings, and I realized that ICF was my Christian family on campus. I have celebrated different birthdays, holidays with my friends at ICF.

During my time at ICF, I have been able to attend different retreats where I have learned many new things in my Christian walk. I have also had the opportunity to be the Bible Study Coordinator for the 2008 school year. This has helped to develop my leadership skills. I am really glad that I have a family on campus, and that I have friends that I can talk to and pray with.

On the Road with ICF

It was fall 07 the world was as chaotic as it has been but i saw a line on the web it said "come to me and I will give you rest."

It all started like that now look, I cannot leave it, it has become a constant companion. The people, the music, the dicussions and the prayers the dynamics of bible studies, the hot coffee, the spicy dumplings, the never ending welcome night Ghanian food, the love of Jesus manifested in many.

I am not ashamed of the Gospel I will testify even if i don't feel like what the Lord has done for me I shall always praise him for ICF. You might not realize but God loves all with all he has done will you choose to keep quiet?

I joined ICF in the spring of 2008. It was my first time to join any international fellowship! I was so impressed by meeting people from all over the world!

My highlight of ICF is “Of course retreat!!!!!!” It was one of my favorite moments in my exchange semester! At the ICF retreat, I could get rid of the school work for a while. I still remember that the theme was fear factors! I learned how to deal with anxiety and stress. I really enjoyed singing songs in worship, dancing with my bible study group and the BBQ! I liked the spiritual talk provided by the guest speakers. Through bible studies, I came to know more about Jesus. I loved spending time with people from different cultural backgrounds. I enjoyed learning different languages in those three days of the retreat.

As an international student, I don't have any family members in Houston. ICF tells me that I am not the only one! ICF gives me a place to relax, to learn, to meet friends and to enjoy life! ICF is so supportive! I love ICF! Thank you!
