IAESTE UH is one of 25 local chapters of IAESTE USA, and a member of 86 countries under IAESTE International. Our dual function is to send UH students to international internships by raising local opportunities to exchange for international internships, and to host the interns that come to UH. We, IAESTE members, are Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, and Architecture students, both American and International, undergraduate and graduate, who want to be different and advance academically. The internships that we offer are exclusively for technical students seeking international experience in either industry or research.
IAESTE at the University of Houston is the "new kid on the block" that is taking both UH and IAESTE USA by storm. Our goals of sending 10-15 UH students abroad on internships and raising 20 internship positions on campus and in the area seem pretty lofty at first glance for a new chapter, but we have both the determination and the resources to make them a reality.
