New Employee Celebration (NEC) is a one-day program in which you will learn about your benefits options, obtain your parking pass and staff ID card (Cougar Card), and find out what UH has to offer you as an employee and member of our community. Your hiring department will register you for NEC and notify you of the date and time. Typically, this will be your first day of employment. If you have been given a start date but have not been given an NHO attendance date, please speak to your hiring manager. Some of the information covered in NEC is time-sensitive, and it's important that you attend as soon as possible!
