On Wednesday, January 14, 2015, the process of rounding bi-weekly punches to the closest quarter hour will be discontinued. Employees will be paid based on actual punch times. This change only affects bi-weekly employees.
Employees will not be required to change current clocking in/out procedures. A new feature has been added to the top of the timesheet called “Reported Hours” that shows a running total of reported hours at any given time. This addition will help the user monitor their time so they can alert their supervisor of any potential issues.
This process change was made based on feedback from employees, payroll approvers and managers. We anticipate the new process to be easier for everyone involved.
