Learning & Talent Development (LTD), a division of Human Resources, is excited to present the Exploring Leadership series to staff and faculty. Exploring Leadership is comprised of a series of short, “Lunch and Learn” presentations designed to give new and future leaders foundational leadership knowledge and techniques.  

Exploring Leadership – Series 1

Exploring Leadership -- Series 1 is comprised of three, one-hour brown bag lunchtime sessions focused on employees who are not currently in leadership positions, but hope to be in the future.                  

  1. The Pros and Cons of Leadership                                             
  2. The Power of your Personal Brand                                                          
  3. Leadership Communication Skills                                                             

Requirement:

Open to all UH staff and faculty who are interested in moving into a leadership position

All modules are 12:00 – 1:00 pm.

Exploring Leadership – Series 2

PREREQUISITE: Completion of Series 1

Exploring Leadership -- Series 2 is comprised of three, one-hour brown bag lunchtime sessions focused on employees who are not currently in leadership positions, but hope to be in the future. 

  1. How to be a Star at Work                                                    
  2. Resolving Conflict                                                                   
  3. Succeeding through Change                                                              

All modules are 12:00 – 1:00 pm

A schedule of courses and registration information is emailed at the start of each semester to staff offices across campus. If you would like to be included on the distribution list, please email Christine Donovan - cdonovan@central.uh.edu.
