Time to Update Your PASS Account

The end of the year is approaching and we want to get your tax information to you quickly and accurately in January. You can help us by going into PASS through AccessUH or going to http://my.uh.edu and selecting Personal Information. Here you can review and update:

  • Name
  • Home Address
  • Email Address

If you started your employment at UH under a new Social Security Number, please also review your Personal Information Summary. If we do not have your permanent SSN, bring your Social Security card and a photo ID to the HR Service Center at 325 McElhinney.

Did you know? You can save time and make 2015 a little greener by marking your January calendar to download your W-2 from PASS. Watch your email and the HR Home Page to find out when your tax forms are ready.

Holiday Season

The holiday season is here and we want it to be your best ever. If your holiday party gets a little too festive, please consider Sober Rides, either for yourself or a friend.  Sober Rides is a mobile-friendly public service website that helps you locate cabs, limos and public transportation in your immediate area. Keep your holidays happy by making sure your loved ones get home safe

eTermination

The eTermination Checklist is a new online feature that allows employees to electronically track tasks associated to departing the institution. The checklist will identify items specific to the employee that need to be returned prior to leaving, such as: Parking passes, keys, T-Card/P-Card, equipment, and more. For more details, please see our eTermination Training. Please note that eTermination is at present only available for benefits-eligible employees.

Staff Scholarships

The application period for the Spring 2015 Staff Tuition Scholarship is October 15 – December 5. The scholarship is offered on a first-come/first-served basis to all benefits-eligible staff with a GPA of at least 2.0. Apply Here>>

Database Split

On October 20, the university system will separate the PeopleSoft Student database and the PeopleSoft HR database, which were previously housed on the same server. To facilitate the split, PeopleSoft will be down on October 18 and 19. Queries and web clocks will also be down, but TCDs will remain active. When the system comes back up on October 20, users will find that the blue HR&CS icon is gone and access to all HR functionality will be through PASS. Learn More>>
