HOW TO REQUEST A “FIX-IT” WORK ORDER

1. Log into Access UH

2. Click “Fix-It” Button

3. Select “00730 University of Houston”

4. Scroll and find your residence hall, such as:

  • “0495 Cougar Place” or
  • “0496 Cougar Village 2”

5. Select your floor.

6. Select your room number. If the problem is regarding the suite, select the suite number, such as “1078”. If it is in a bedroom select the specific room number such as “1078A”.

7. Select “Service Requests”

8. Select “Create Service Requests”

9. Confirm your information by pressing “Next”.

10. Select “Campus Resident Request”

11. Select problem type, such as:

  • Pest Control
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical

12. Speficy the problem. For example, if plumbing select one of:

  • Water is too cold
  • Clogged shower

13. Enter Service Details

14. Confirm location by pressing “Next”

15. Review and submit by pressing “Finish”

16. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order has been processed.
