Honors College students often study away or study abroad during their college careers. Each year, the Honors College plans one or more trips during the spring break or summer. In recent summers, Honors students traveled to Spain, Israel, Ireland, and Greece. In addition to the trips planned by the College, professors and programs within the College often plan trips, such as the annual spring break trip taken by the students in the Artists & Their Regions course (part of the Center for Creative Work).
Many students also apply for scholarships - both from the University and other organizations - that support them in study away. Some of these scholarships and fellowships may be found via the Office of Undergraduate Research or from the Office of International Studies and Programs.
