The Grand Challenges Forum (GCF) encourages students to think critically, discuss openly, and learn unequivocally. The Honors College, in partnership with University of Houston Alumni Association and Bauer College of Business, sponsor GCF in an effort to expose University of Houston students to great thinkers and doers in Houston, in Texas, and beyond. We welcome a diverse group of distinguished scholars, authors, activists and artists in an effort to further the University’s commitment to intellectual rigor, critical thinking, and scholarly excellence. The Grand Challenges Forum offers our students a time to hear a wide range of lectures dedicated to a common theme, which for the 2016-2017 academic year is “REVOLUTION.”
