In addition to providing an outstanding undergraduate experience at the University of Houston, The Honors College is also a resource for students and educators throughout the Greater Houston area. The College supports the professional development of Houston-area K-12 teachers and enriches their students by providing them with opportunities and resources that extend learning beyond the classroom. The Honors College serves the city by offering stimulating and thought-provoking teacher institutes, summer seminars, public lectures, special events, and in-school visits.
