November 2012
- Dr. Chris Harmon will speak on terrorism in a lecture, How Terrorism Ends on November 1, and in a discussion on November 2, A Conversation: The Ideas Behind Terrorism.
- Career Friday on November 2 brings speakers to teach you how to put your best self forward in an interview.
- Join Honors alumni, faculty, staff, and other students at Honors Day at the Houston Zoo on November 3. Wear your RED -- the event is part of the Keep Houston RED events surrounding Homecoming.
- Dr. Richard Kogan, concert pianist and psychiatrist, brings the lecture/concert Beethoven: Creative Genius and Psychiatric Illness to Honors on November 9.
- The writing craft talks series "The Craft of Writing" continues on November 9. Christine LeVeaux-Haley and Karen Weber will give you the inside scoop on how to start planning for your ePortfolio.
- Join the Honors students who went to Srebrenica this summer, visiting scholar MJ Faber, and a panel of UH faculty for the discussion Assessing International Intervention: Applying Lessons from Srebrenica to Conflict in Syria on November 13.
