Each year a generous friend of Honors graciously hosts An Evening with Honors featuring a talented Honors student or alum, in their home. In an intimate setting, we tell the Honors story to friends, new friends, and donors.
2008 An Evening with Honors
Generously hosted by Jane and Robert Cizik, and featuring 1985 Honors Graduate Richard Dowling, Pianist.
Clockwise: Richard Dowling, Founding Dean Ted Estess, Jane Cizik (Chair of the Honors College Advisory Board), and Robert Cizik.
The reviewers say: “Dowling has real talent and substance, a musician with something to say, the skill to say it and the magnetic power to make you want to listen..." "Capturing the true essence of Chopin, Dowling conveys the poetry in the works..." "Don’t miss this!"
2009 An Evening with Honors
Generously hosted by Olga and Gerald Balboa and featuring Honors Student Christine Wisch, Violinist.
