Career Highlights/Bio
Yoon Koh is an Associate Professor of Strategic Management and Finance at the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership, University of Houston. Her areas of expertise include entrepreneurship, crowdfunding, sharing economy, and ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance). She is an author of more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles, serves as an editorial member of leading hospitality and tourism journals, and served as a guest editor of "Economic Impact of Corporate Social Responsibilities" for Tourism Economics. Dr. Koh is a recipient of numerous awards and grants, including UH Teaching Award, Donald Greenway Excellence Award, Provost's Excellence Award, 50-in-5 Scholar Award, STR SHARE Impact Award, Stephen Rushmore/HVS Faculty Research Award, Outstanding Scientific Paper Reviewer in Finance Award at the ICHRIE conference, and multiple Best Conference Paper Award at the annual Graduate Education & Graduate Student Research Conference in Hospitality & Tourism.  She brings nine years of work experience in banking, hospitality, and consulting to her classrooms.
