Career Highlights

Dr. Cristian Morosan is a Professor at the Hilton College with expertise in information technology and innovation. He has accumulated over 20 years of teaching in higher education and over 30 years of involvement with the hospitality industry.

Dr. Morosan’s research has been funded by regional organizations such as the European Union, Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals, and several state and local governments in the U.S. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed and invited publications and accumulated over 3,800 citations. Dr. Morosan received several awards, such as the prestigious Teaching Excellence Award for Innovation in Instructional Technology, the Stephen Rushmore/HVS Research Excellence Award, the University of Houston Leadership in Teaching Excellence Award, and best paper awards.

Dr. Morosan has been teaching courses in information technology, innovation, marketing, and management, at all levels and in all possible formats. He has always been passionate about teaching, especially about teaching with and about information technology. Dr. Morosan is an avid innovator and is always looking for opportunities to introduce students to new technologies.
