Barron’s Restaurant

We’ve got some news about Barron’s! Plans are underway for a complete remodel of the kitchen and dining room of our much loved student-run restaurant. As a result, Barron’s will be closed for the rest of 2017. No worries though – Barron’s will be back better than ever! We’ll keep you posted!

Barron’s, Hilton College’s famous student-run restaurant, has been a popular hangout for more than 20 years. Featuring a varied menu and affordable prices, we think it’s the best deal on campus.

But Barron's isn't just a great place to meet friends for tasty food—it also gives our students a unique opportunity to learn the ropes of running a restaurant. Barron's—named after Barron Hilton, son of Conrad N. Hilton—is managed entirely by Hilton College students, who plan, cook, serve and run every aspect of the restaurant.

Students from the College's Food and Beverage Service class staff the restaurant, and students from the Advanced Food and Beverage Management class manage the operation. All gratuities go toward equipment and supplies for the Barron's kitchen.

Located in the College’s South Wing next to Cougar Grounds, Barron’s is open to the public for lunch, Monday-Friday from 12-1:30 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters. No reservations necessary. Because this restaurant is a lab, operating hours cannot be extended. However, if you need to eat earlier, reservations for 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. can be made 24 hours in advance by calling 713.743.743.2558 or emailing
