Eligibility for Services

The Student Health Center is financed by Student Service Fees and fees for services. A  fee is charged for professional services, medications, laboratory procedures, and injections.

All currently enrolled students at the University of Houston are eligible for all services of the Student Health Center.

Summer Eligibility for Services

The Summer Eligibility Service fee is a one-time  fee charged to students who are not enrolled in the current summer term and choose to use the Student Health Center during the summer.

  • Students who graduate in May can receive services at the UH Student Health Center for the subsequent summer period until the beginning of the Fall term. A one-time Summer Eligibility Service  fee will be added to their charges.
  • Students who are not enrolled in the current Summer term, but who were enrolled for the previous Spring term may receive services at the UH Student Health Center during the summer period until the beginning of the Fall term. A one-time Summer Eligibility Service fee will be added to their charges.
  • New Students who are pre-registered for the upcoming Fall term may receive services at the UH Student Health Center beginning July 15th until the beginning of the Fall term. A one-time Summer Eligibility Service fee will be added to their charges.
