The first step to the application process includes the Online Application:
The ApplyTexas Application is the common application portal for all public universities in the State of Texas.
- You will be asked to provide your:
- demographic information,
- intended degree
- your educational history, and
- names and email addresses of your references.
- You may also pay your application fee.
Once you have successfully submitted your application, please allow 24-48 hours to recieve an email acknowledgement from the Graduate School with instructions to log-in to myUH and submit required application materials electronically.
You will then have the opportunity to upload certain documents, including resume/curriculum vitae, personal statement, unofficial copies of trancripts or test scores (if requested by the program); track recipt status of your official transcripts and letters of references, as well as check the status of your application to the university.
