Graduate Student Assistantships
Graduate student assistants are graduate students in good standing enrolled full-time who hold a graduate student appointment requiring the performance of such duties as classroom instruction, academic advising, reading papers and examinations, supervision, or research responsibilities. There are six graduate student appointment categories. Graduate student assistantships encompass the positions of teaching fellow, teaching assistant, instructional assistant, research assistant, and graduate assistant.
