Cr. 3. (3-0). This course examines the social and societal factors that are fundamental in creating disparities in health. The focus is on the formulation of public objectives to reduce and ultimately eliminate health disparities.

Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: HLT 6319, HLT 6323, or consent of instructor. Instructional trends for the clinic, laboratory, and classrooms.
7321: Seminar in Sex Education Programs

7323: Health Program Planning and Proposal Writing
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: HLT 6321. Theory and skills for planning health and education programs and developing a proposal for securing external funding from public and private sources.
7324: Cancer Prevention: The Educator's Role
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisite: HLT 6318 or HLT 6319 or consent of instructor. Aspects of cancer prevention and treatment as well as the needs of cancer patients and their families. Emphasis on the role of cancer education in schools and communities as well as professional and patient education.
