7373: Business Applications of Data Base Management Systems I
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and MIS 6341. Concepts and methods associated with definition, creation, and management of data bases for business applications.

7374: Business Applications of Data Base Management Systems II
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and MIS 7373. Advanced study of the use of the semantic, entity-relationship, and relational data base systems for business applications.

7375: Decision Support Systems
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and MIS 6341. Uses of computer and information system technologies to develop computer-based tools that support nonstructured, judgmental tasks of a planning/strategic nature.

7376: Systems Analysis and Design
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and MIS 6341. Study of various design methodologies used to develop the information requirements and design specifications for large-scale computer-based systems.

7378: Management of End-User Computing
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and MIS 6341. Strategies for management and control of end-user computing. Topics include current and emerging techniques, tools, and support structures; and potential programs and solutions.

7379: Management Information Systems Management
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and at least two of the courses MIS 6341, MIS 7373, MIS 7375, and MIS 7376. The capstone course for students with an emphasis in MIS. Topics include MIS organization, MIS planning and control managing systems development, and managing changing technology.

Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and consent of instructor.  Models and techniques for managing and controlling the security of an organization's information assets.

7387: Management of Information Communications
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and MIS 6341. Examination of technical and managerial issues associated with the hardware and software components of data, voice, video, and image communications systems.

7397: Selected Topics in Decision and Information Sciences
