Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and FINA 6387. The major social, political, legal, ethical, and cultural dimensions of the changing world environment and the impact of these dimensions on the firm.

6350: Business Communication and Ethical Reasoning
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing. Study of communication and critical thinking skills useful in business, including methods for organizing ideas, analyzing data, assessing decision alternatives, presenting information, and developing an ethical framework for professional behavior.

6375: American Business History
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and consent of instructor. Business structure in the United States since the late nineteenth century; the responses of government and labor to the rise of big business.

6390: Professional Report
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and consent of instructor. The course requires the student to complete a professional report or paper under the supervision of a graduate faculty member of the college.

7304: Business Ethics for Accountants
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing. Ethical principles in business and accounting, focusing on the origins of ethical thinking (history/philosophy), modern day ethical issues (real business cases), and the professional ethical standards applicable to CPAs today.

7305: Commercial Law
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing. Application of basic legal principles to contracts, sales, insurance, commercial paper, agency, business organizations, real property, personal property, trade regulation, secured transactions, and bankruptcy.

7335: Managing Cultural Diversity
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and MANA 6332. Focus on manager's role in effectively managing cultural and individual differences in the U.S. and abroad.

7336: Women in Administration
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing. Problems and solutions that women face in gaining equal opportunity in administrative positions. Topics include laws, role models, and current research. Case analysis will be emphasized.

7350: Business Ethics
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and approval of instructor. Ethical principles in business and accounting, focusing on the historical and philosophical origins of ethical thinking, modern-day ethical issues examining actual business cases, and the professional ethical standards applicable to CPAs today.

7378: Crisis Management
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing. Policies and programs of public and private sector to deal with natural and technological disasters and terrorism.

7387: Negotiations and Cross-Cultural Communications
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: graduate standing and MANA 6332. Study and application of models relevant to effective negotiation and communication in cross-cultural settings. Diagnosis of bargaining contexts and styles to prepare for bargaining situations.

7397: Selected Topics in General Business Administration

8396: Research Practicum
