A University of Houston Application for Graduate Studies must be submitted along with transcripts of all college-level course credit and a $75 graduate application fee. Admission will depend on grade point average, applicable test scores, and other information. Conditional admission may be granted to students who have a grade point average in the range of 2.75 to 2.99 in their last 60 hours of undergraduate course work. Contact the Graduate Program Advisor for additional requirements.

Applicable Course Credit

Post baccalaureate students should apply to the program no later than the end of their first semester if they wish to become degree seeking.

Any course(s) taken prior to admission to the program, whether on-campus or off-campus, cannot be applied to more than one degree program. For details, consult the Academic Regulations and Degree Requirements section of this catalog.

Only students who have been admitted to a graduate program will be permitted to enroll in graduate courses in the College of Technology. Exceptions require the Dean's approval.
