Master of Technology in Engineering Technology

The Master of TEchnology in Engineering Technology currently offers two emphases, one in Construction Management Technology and the other in Network Communications. The Engineering Technology degree studies current issues in technology, project management and experimental design and data analysis.

Master of Technology in Engineering Technology — Construction Management Technology

Advisor: Dr. Lingguang Song

This degree emphasis builds upon baccalaureate degrees in engineering, construction engineering technology, and related fields. This program provides an advanced knowledge of construction project planning and management, cost analysis and estimating, and quality control. Graduates will be prepared to work in industries requiring an advanced knowledge of construction and educational institutions offering baccalaureate and associate degree programs.

Master of Technology in Engineering Technology — Network Communications

Advisor: Dr. Deniz Gurkan

This degree emphasis builds upon TAC-ABET-accredited baccalaureate degree programs in the fields of computer, electronic, or electrical engineering technology, and related fields. This program provides advanced knowledge of communications between computer networks, including data processing in the network environment, network operations software and operating systems, and communication systems. This emphasis will focus on the following topics: network security, network management, and project management. Graduates are prepared to be network communications specialists, and technology instructors for educational institutions offering baccalaureate and associate degree programs.
