Special Academic RegulationsDoctor of Philosophy students are advanced to candidacy upon the successful completion of the comprehensive examination in the specialty field. Students will work with a dissertation advisory committee and a major supervising professor appointed by the graduate program director in consultation with the student and the faculty. The Doctor of Philosophy degree is awarded when students have successfully defended the dissertation before the graduate faculty of the department.For more information write to this address:
