Cr. 3.(3-0). Prerequisites:Admission to Counseling or School Ph.D. Program, consent of instructor. This course is designed to provide entry level competence in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of assessment instruments used to measure cognitive abilities.
8348:Evidence-Based Practice with Children and Adolescents
Cr. 3. (3-0). Prerequisites: Consent of instructor. This course offers training in evidence-based pediatric psychological assessment and intervention practices for internalizing, externalizing and autism-spectrum disorders.

8361: Ecological-Behavioral and Counseling Interventions

Reviews principles of interventions and counseling strategies from an applied behavior analytic perspective for children, adolescents, and adults within an ecological-behavioral framework. Emphasis on functional assessment, functional analysis, and Positive Behavior Support (PBS).

Focuses on assessment and direct intervention of academic skills utilizing a data-driven problem-solving orientation. Includes a review of a Response-to-Intervnetion model as well as Curriculum-Based measurement.

8364: Professional Practice in Psychology: Ethics, Law, and Professional Issues

Reviews ethical, legal, and professional issues relevant to the professional practice of psychology, research, and teaching.
