General Information

The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics seeks to provide a rich learning environment in which students can pursue programs of higher education that will advance their chosen career objectives and motivate them to continue to learn and grow intellectually throughout their lives. Through the quality and creativity of its faculty and academic programs, the college seeks to equip students with the wisdom to put their knowledge to productive use for the benefit of society.

Graduate programs in the college seek to produce scientists of disciplined intelligence, dedicated not only to the discovery of new truths and scientific possibilities, but also to the interpretation of the principles and discoveries of past achievements through research and experimentation. The college recognizes the importance of both past and future discoveries through a program of study that embraces many disciplines.
