General Information

The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics seeks to provide a rich
learning environment in which students can pursue programs of higher education
that will advance their chosen career objectives and motivate them to continue
to learn and grow intellectually throughout their lives. Through the quality
and creativity of its faculty and academic programs, the college seeks to equip
students with the wisdom to put their knowledge to productive use for the
benefit of society.
Graduate programs in the college seek to produce scientists
of disciplined intelligence, dedicated not only to the discovery of new truths
and scientific possibilities, but also to the interpretation of the principles
and discoveries of past achievements through research and experimentation. The
college recognizes the importance of both past and future discoveries through a
program of study that embraces many disciplines.
