Admission Requirements

In addition to meeting the college graduate admission requirements, applicants must have completed a minimum of 24 semester hours in history at either the undergraduate or the postbaccalaureate level with a grade point average of at least 3.33 (A=4.00). Consult the department for additional information and more specific requirements.

Candidacy

Upon completion of 12 semester hours of graduate credit with a grade point average of at least 3.00 (A=4.00) and the fulfillment of all basic requirements, students should apply through the department for candidacy. The college office will give final approval.
