Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture Scholastic Requirements In addition to maintaining a cumulative grade point average at or above the minimum of 3.0, graduate students must complete all course requirements, or the approved equivalents, in each semester of each level before proceeding to the next semester of the design studio sequence. In addition, any graduate student who receives a grade of C+ or lower in 12 semester hours of graduate credit attempted at the University of Houston is ineligible for any graduate degree from the University of Houston and will not be permitted to re-enroll for graduate studies. At the conclusion of the spring semester, the work of each student will be evaluated by the graduate faculty. Students not progressing in a satisfactory manner may be counseled to take additional courses before proceeding to the next level. Students are also expected to meet all graduate scholastic regulations of the university.
