Gifts in Memory or Celebration

In moments of joy, gratitude or sadness, we often search for the right way to commemorate or honor a special person. The University of Houston welcomes gifts made in memory of, or in honor of individuals.

A memorial or celebratory gift can be unrestricted, meaning that the university can apply it to the greatest need. Or you can designate your gift to a particular college or program. Depending on the size of your gift, you may be able to establish an endowed fund, such as a scholarship or professorship that will carry the name of the person you choose to honor.
