Houston’s Pursuit of Hoppiness tells the story of home brewing in Houston. Homebrewed beer started in the area when people couldn’t buy a locally brewed beer. This forced them to begin producing their own. As time when on, companies like Saint Arnold built the beer culture in Houston. Homebrew groups now exist, such as the Foam Rangers, and they participate in homebrew competitions like the Dixie Cup.
