Executive Committee Meetings  [Closed]
Take place in room 351, Cullen Performance Hall, and include the Faculty Senate Executive Committee (ten members) and the UH Council Chairs (four members).
Executive Committee Meeting with President, Provost & CFO  [Closed]
Take place in room 220, Ezekiel Cullen between the Chancellor/President, the Provost, the CFO and the Faculty Senate Executive Committee (ten members) and the UH Council Chairs (four members).
Faculty Assemblies  [Public]
Occur once each in the spring and fall semesters. They are generally held in the Kiva of Farish Hall. The Faculty Senate President issues invitations to speak.
Faculty Senate Meetings [Public]
Take place in the rooms indicated above. There are normally 52 senators. The Provost sits with the Senate in its deliberations. The Chancellor/President has an open invitation to attend.  The University Community and public are welcome.
Faculty Senate Retreat [UH Faculty Senators and by invitation]
Held at an off-campus site, this is an opportunity for senators to discuss issues and priorities and plan strategies for the coming year.
New Senator Welcome Luncheon [By invitation]
An event designed to welcome new members and provide an opportunity for socializing with Executive Committee members and others and provide some orientation material.
Scholarship & Community Conferences [Registration required]
Due to the rising costs associated with producing this all-day conference on relevant academic-political-community issues, it was changed in 2000 to be an biennial event.  Planning for the April 2010 event is currently underway.   For more information or to register, visit:  http://www.coe.uh.edu/scc/
