LINKS RELATED TO THE COALITION ON INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS (CoIA)
      The University of Houston Faculty Senate joined the Coalition on Intercollegiate Athletics (CoIA) on March 24, 2004 by approving resolutions to accept membership in the organization, to seek funding for participation in the CoIA and to establish the method to elect a delegate and alternate delegate to the CoIA.

      The current University of Houston Faculty Senate elected representatives to the CoIA are:

      On March 30, 2005 the Faculty Senate voted to approve in principle the Coalition's document, "Academic Integrity in Intercollegiate Athletics:  Principles, Rules, and Best Practices."  The resolution of approval, an Executive Summary and the full document are available through the above links.
