Registration for Summer 2009 will remain open until June 12, 2009.
The Jump helps incoming freshman get "a jump" on college life by offering the opportunity to complete two courses before the beginning of their first semester. Students will earn a total of six hours of credit towards their college degree.

The cost for The Jump is $800 dollars, payment is due in late June. A limited amount of on-campus housing is also available at a discounted rate.
To be eligible for The Jump, you must be TSI (Texas Success Initiative) exempt or have successfully passed the THEA. You must be deemed a Texas resident for tuition purposes to apply. Students who register for The Jump, you must attend one of the following Orientation dates before the beginning of the Jump Program:
You will choose either English or Math and either History or US Government. Each course applies toward required core courses for every college and major. If you have credit through Advanced Placement or dual credit, additional options will be available; please email us at thejump@uh.edu for more information.
