Payment FAQ
- What type of payments does UH accept?
- UH accepts cash, check and credit card (Master Card and Discover). Cash payments must be made in E.Cullen Building, Rm #6 between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM. Check and credit card payment can be made online at myUH (PeopleSoft)
(MasterCard & Discover only). Checks are also accepted at the Welcome Center on Mon-Tue from 8AM to 7PM and Wed-Fri from 8AM to 5PM.
- How do I apply for an Emergency Tuition Loan, Short Term Loan, or Installment Plan?

- Log on to myUH (PeopleSoft)

- Click UH Self-Service located at the top left-hand of the page.
- Under Learner Services, click on Student Financials.
- Click on Payment Plans. NOTE: A “paid” status must be accomplished to be eligible for a UH Book Loan.
- What are the qualifications for an Emergency/Short Term Loan?
- You can’t have any prior balances or stops on your student account and you must be enrolled in courses.
- What is not covered under mandatory fees when applying for an Emergency/Short Loan?
- Fees that are not covered by the Emergency and Short Term Loan are optional fees such as health insurance, yearbook and parking citations and decals. Students must pay these fees out of pocket when applying for either of these loans.
- What happens if I do not submit my payment by the deadline?
- If payment is not received in our office or posted online by 5:00 PM, your classes will be canceled.
