Traditionally, one of the highlights of Frontier Fiesta, are the Broadway style variety shows that are hosted by different student organizations. Some shows have rich history which date back to the original days of Frontier Fiesta These shows, which are complete original works by the organizations from the scripts, to the sets, the costumes, and the choreography, are a semester long process. The shows are an engaging array of comedic relief surrounding school spirit.

Throughout Fiesta City, one can enjoy carnival booths that are set up by student organizations on campus. Organizations use these booths as fund raisers for their events at UH. In the past years booths have included: face painting, laser tag, sumo wrestling, wax hands, bouncy boxing, temporary tattoos, old time photos, and obstacle courses.
Frontier Fiesta offers free nightly concerts to all those attending, with performances from major Name artists. Fiesta’s concerts typically draw the biggest crowds of the day. Performance line–ups include talents from various genres, including Latin, country, hip–hop, rock n’ roll, and etc. Artists who have performed at Frontier fiesta include: Roger Creager, The Clipse, Kenny Rogers, T.I., Frankie J, Reckless Kelly, Anne Baxter, Robert Earl Keen, Humphrey Bogart, and many more
