UH Pride Ambassadors
The University of Houston Marketing Department is seeking aggressive, creative, detailed and self-motivated individuals to serve in our UH Pride Ambassadors (UHPA) program for the Division of University Relations. These marketing and communications interns will implement student-run projects that promote UH's reputation of academic excellence.
The Department
The Division of University Relations seeks to enhance and build the brand image of the university by providing strategic communications/ marketing planning, advertising, direct marketing and market research for the university. In addition, the office seeks to maximize significant positive media coverage of the university, its people and its programs by cultivating relationships with reporters and editors. These relationships improve media acceptance of UH stories, facilitate media access to UH information, and allow for more effective communication of the UH community's collective achievements.
Minimum Requirements
Must be a current UH student in an undergrad or graduate program. Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Candidates must be team-oriented and must be able to work approximately 10 hours a week. Looking specifically for skilled students in the areas of marketing, writing, graphic design, web development, photography, and video.
