Getting Started

Blackboard Learn is available to the faculty with a CougarNet login and can be accessed through AccessUH or UH Blackboard.  The instructor can use the following steps to begin with.

  • Request a Course

You must submit a course Request form to use Blackboard Learn and this must be done each and every semester. You will need your course number/section number to fill out the form.  You use this Blackboard Course Request to request a Blackboard course or check its status: 

  • Add a TA

You can add a TA to your Blackboard class using the Blackboard Course Request.  You will need the TA's PeopleSoft ID.  This can be done anytime during the semester. After adding a TA in Course Request form, a confirmation will be sent to you.  You need to click the link to confirm the request.

  • Attend Workshops
