Budget Considerations for the 2012 - 2013 Grant Program
The recipient will be responsible for obtaining written approval of any changes to the budget which occur during the award time frame. A budget change request must be made to the FDIP Coordinator, Tammy Hoskings (thoskings@uh.edu).
Department / College technology representatives are welcomed to be a part of a pre-submission evaluation and the faculty submitting the proposal. Purchase of hardware not requested in the original budget should be considered a modification of budget request and submitted to the FDIP award coordinator, Tammy Hoskings (thoskings@uh.edu).
The budget submitted will be reviewed for acceptable expenditures and the submitter will be contacted for any revisions that should be made prior to going to the FDIP Grant committee. The committee members, during the review process, may also suggest further changes to the proposed budget.
There should not be any requests for the following:
- Travel
- Memberships
- Dues
- Student scholarships
- Office Supplies
Stipends for faculty should be limited to no more than $4,000 for course development.
