Whitehead Receives DOE Office of Science Early Career Research Award

Lisa Whitehead, assistant professor of physics, is one of 68 U.S. scientists selected to receive the Department of Energy Office of Science’s Early Career Research Award. The five-year awards are designed to bolster the nation’s scientific workforce by providing support to exceptional researchers during the early career years.

Retired HRM Professor Ray Ellis Passes Away

On May 11, the Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management lost a beloved retired professor and colleague. Ray Ellis, 91, died early on the morning of graduation day.
