The New Dining Hall project will house a modern dining facility with approximately 600 seats and will serve the residential students within walking distance of the facility. The food service facility will have a traditional food line and full preparation kitchen located in the back of the house. The server will have 7 points of service: 1) pizza, 2) a grille, 3) salad station, 4) specialty station, 5) entrée station, 6) dessert and 7) bakery. The kitchen setup will include coolers, freezers, dry storage and a full dish room accumulator and pot sink area. The facility will be supported by a 3 bay loading dock for receiving and trash disposal. The project will seek LEED silver certification.
