Sidewalks To Close Temporarily Near Dart Building, Taub Hall

The installation of a natural gas line will temporarily close some sidewalks near Taub Hall and the Justin Dart Jr. Center for Students with DisAbilities starting at 7 a.m. Monday, March 4.

CenterPoint Energy will be putting in the natural gas line from the Cougar Village II construction site to an area west of Taub Hall. The work will be done by 5 p.m. Thursday, March 7.

Workers will bore under the Entrance 6 roadway and parallel to the sidewalk south of the Dart Building and along the sidewalk west of Taub Hall. The work will not impact vehicle traffic. Sidewalks south of the Dart Building and west of Taub Hall will be closed during this construction. Pedestrian traffic can detour between the Dart Building and the Student Services II building and between Settegast Hall and Taub Hall through the Quadrangle courtyard. Please see map below for locations.
