As part of an ongoing project for the Civil Engineering Department, a large piece of equipment will be delivered to the South Park Annex building on Monday, October 22, 2012. An eighteen-wheel truck will deliver the 54-ton chiller and a 100–ton crane will be staged in Parking Lot 3A to lift the chiller into place. Please refer to the image provided below.
In order to complete this task, Lot 3A will need to be cleared. Beginning at 10:30AM Monday morning, the contractor will block off the lot to make room for the chiller arrival. We ask that faculty and/or staff using this area not park in that location. The entire delivery process is scheduled to be completed by 5:00PM.
