Cemo Hall: Building Upon Success

Cemo Rendering

UH Bauer College of Business will continue to strengthen its presence as one of the nation's leading business schools with the construction of a second building, the Michael J. Cemo Lecture Hall and Academic Center. This 34,000 square foot LEED-Certified building will undoubtedly usher in a new generation of students who will benefit from the educational tools the school provides. Named in honor of Cemo ('68), a UH alum and former regent, the two-level $50M facility was designed by green building experts BNIM and constructed by J.E. Dunn. Not only does the new building fall in line with the Campus Master Plan, it also will house a state-of-the-art lecture hall, writing center, career center, and numerous classrooms and teaching assistant space. Located between Melcher Hall and Calhoun Lofts, Cemo Hall will be the second building constructed on the campus devoted to business education.
