We also work with colleges and develop and implement Extension programs for domestic and international delivery.

Online & Special Programs offers a variety of courses and degree programs via internet, hybrid, face-to-face and at our off-campus teaching centers. Each year, more than 20,000 UH students enroll in over 500 distance education classes, and this number is projected to increase.
Weekend U is designed to provide students with an alternative when scheduling courses. The program offers smaller Saturday core curriculum classes, the opportunity to accelerate degree completion, and easier parking. During the Fall and Spring semesters, Weekend U classes are held Saturdays on the UH campus between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and are taught by the same qualified instructors that teach during the week.
Faculty and Departmental Instructional Support promotes and supports faculty and programs using technology to enhance the learning experience in the classroom and in the community.
