ETUO works with academic colleges, faculty and other administrative units to coordinate course and program delivery, student support services, and to provide faculty development opportunities. We also work with colleges and develop and implement Extension programs for domestic and international delivery.

ETUO also serves as a liaison with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the Southern Regional Electronic Board on matters related to accurate reporting and maintenance of quality standards.

The Office of University Outreach is a major unit within Educational Technology and University Outreach (ETUO) which supports the strategic objectives of the University of Houston by increasing institutional excellence, student access, external partnerships, accountability, and administrative efficiency.

Office of Faculty Development and Instructional Support (FDIS)

The Office of Faculty Development and Instructional Support promotes and supports faculty and programs using technology to enhance the learning experience in the classroom and in the community.

School of Continuing and Professional Studies

The School of Continuing and Professional Studies provides leadership and professional development training to Houston professionals. For over three decades, UH Continuing Studies has contributed to organizational excellence through certificate programs, customized training and partnerships, courses and conferences.
