GSO Research Symposium

 CALL FOR PAPERS

March 11th for Presentation/Poster Submissions
March 28th for Registration

  The Graduate Student Organization of the Educational Psychology Department is issuing a call for papers for the Annual GSO Research Symposium, which will be held April 9, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. in the Pacific Room at the University Center. All EPSY graduate students are encouraged to participate in this professional development event. Thesis, candidacy, and dissertation proposals and final papers, as well as any other research projects that students have been working on are welcome. Final data and results are not required for submission. The GSO is hoping to display students’ research in all EPSY areas, including education, counseling psychology, individual differences, and school psychology.  

   If you are interested in submitting your research for either a paper or poster presentation, please email your submission to Clare Reilly at creilly03@hotmail.com no later than the deadline: March 11, 2005. In your email please include your:

Ø      Name

Ø      Title (70 characters or less)

Ø      Abstract (250 words or less)

Ø      Phone number

Ø      Email address

Ø      Mailing address

Ø      Program in which you are currently enrolled

Please specify whether you are interested in presenting a 15-minute paper presentation or a poster presentation.

Also, please indicate if you would like to be eligible for a presentation award.  Prizes will include gift certificates from local establishments as well as a cash Grand Prize.
